She is a certified human resource management practitioner as she has a total of 18 years in the government combined with 5 years in a private set-up. Ms. Bermejo's concept of HR management has evolved from being transactional to developmental. Hence, she ensures that competency based recruitment and selection takes a center-stage and that the employee should ensure that skills are competitive and at par to cope with the changes of the times. But more than that, Ms. Bermejo still believes that the key to a successful work is having able to possess the right attitude.
She is also a professor in a local university handling HR subjects to MPA (Master in Public Administration), and MBA (Master in Business Administration) students. That made her combine theory and actual practice.
